They very easily dropped the price per person from 790k to 500k. We were concerned about the safety of this crossing as it is commonly reported that boats sink or get in other trouble here, so we booked the "reputable" BlueWater Express from the Gili Air office. completely pointless waste of money and a day of our holiday! My husband complained and we finally got them to agree to give us 50% of the money we paid back which was not easy, after being shoved back on the boat at 16.45 we did not arrive back at Sanur until 18.20! Complete nightmare day please don’t book with them when we got off the boat there was nothing around in the middle of nowhere we were told by a local we were around 1 hour away from any attractionĪnd that the boat drops off the complete other side of the island, we ended up having to sit and wait on a dirty, smelly, beach for the last boat back. we were not told we had another island to drop at before going to Nusa Penida which took a further 30minutes!! We were completely frustrated at this point as we knew the last boat back was 16.45 we proceeded, we finally arrived at Nusa Penida at 15.10!!! We had 1hour 30 on the island. we still didn’t actually leave for another 10-15 minutes or so. once we were on all cramed in some people had no seats and stood the whole journey. we had to then register ? every one was pushing in, no que it was un organised chaos ! We waited on the beach for around 45 minutes after we registered, whilst guys threw luggage on to the boat. we got taken by a guy who explained nothing to us who couldn’t speak English just told to follow him to the beach where we were dumped with around 60 other tourists like cattle.
